Moral Policing...... what are they trying to prove??????????

Moral policing by Ram Sena people in pubs of Mangalore... Hearing so much news about this... So many statements coming from different people... Read an article about it this morning... Why are they doing so?????

Why this moral policing…. What are these people trying to prove…. By doing such actions they are just making a mockery of our independence… per law each citizen is free to choose his/her lifestyle… Until someone’s lifestyle is harmless to others no one get the right to force them to change it…

Moral policing is nothing but another form of terrorism I feel…. It’s not only against women... it’s against all those who have shed their bloods to make us live in a free country… Against all those who are still struggling to maintain peace and democracy in the country…. Each and every individual is different and no one gets a right to dictate their personal terms and conditions on people’s lives.

What are they against of????? They say girls should not go on dating with boys… Why do they feel so??? What is wrong there…. As per law if a girl above 18 years of age wants to marry someone even her parents cannot force her not to marry…. Even god never dictated that…. What is these people’s problem if two people are dating each other in public… do they think by beating girls in public or making a dating couple to marry on the spot they can bring the Indian culture back… probably they need to think again on the defn. of Indian culture… Indian culture had always been for the equal rights of men and women…

They should go back and read our ancient epics again… Even in Mahabharata when Rukmini was being forced by her father and brother to marry someone she did not want to Lord Krishna himself came to her rescue… As per our Indian culture the girl has all the rights to choose her own life partner whoever be it… Even if she chooses a partner outside her caste why someone should be worried about that… At the end of the day what matters is who and how are the two people in a relationship and how do they manage to stay together… If the two people in a relationship are happily leading their lives I don’t think anyone should get offended about it… Caste and creed/society it’s all made by us for our convenience… But we see this same thing is getting on top of the individual…. It’s the individuals put together make a society… Society is not just governed by only a handful… we need to be respectful towards each and every individual that comprises the society…..

More than that… a person/individual can be told or taught about moral values by teachers/parents/friends/family… no one can be policed for that after they become adults…. Parents/teachers/family do teach their children about the moral values… But at the end of the day nothing is right nothing is wrong… Everyone has their own thought process… It is very important to be open minded enough to understand the other person’s view rather than blindly forcing someone to behave in a particular way….

Just check this article in Hindu.... and think on this... who gave them this right?
